El Yunque Rainforest Tour- Full or Half Day
El Yunque is the 3500’ peak within Puerto Rico’s Caribbean National Forest. The rainforest, covering 28,000 acres, contains 75 % of the virgin forests left in Puerto Rico. The entire area is a bird sanctuary and holds claim to being the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System.

Horseback Riding in the Foothills of the Rainforest
Bilingual guides accompany every group on the trail ride through the lush tropical foothills of the El Yunque Rainforest, along the banks of the Mameyes River, into the very heart of the legendary Puerto Rican countryside. You'll love the gentle, but spirited, Paso Fino horses featured at Hacienda Carabali, stables for some of San Juan's wealthiest families. Some have described the Paso Fino, which is not a large breed of horse, as being somewhat like a Tennessee Walker, in that it provides one of the smoothest rides imaginable.

Las Cabezas de San Juan
Las Cabezas is found on the northeastern tip of the island. Located on a peninsula, this nature re-serve encompasses 316 acres of land plus 124 acres of lagoons. It contains all of Puerto Rico's eco-systems except for the rain forest. A two-hour guided tour will take you through a half-mile-long coral reef, mangrove swamps, beaches, a dry forest, and beds of turtle grass (thalassia). A highlight is El Faro, a lighthouse built in 1880 and still used by the U.S. Coast Guard. The small nature center in the lighthouse, which is a designated National Historic Place, has touch tanks, aquariums, and an obser-vation deck.
