Mountain Biking at Hacienda Carabali

Hacienda Carabalí invites you to get to know Puerto Rico in an explosion of adrenalin. Our goal is to liberate weary travelers from the daily routine of trains, plains and automobiles. Get ready to pedal your way through the foothills of the rainforest in an exhilarating bike ride into the heart and soul of Puerto Rico.

Upon arrival, riders will be greeted by specialized and certified guides who will proceed to brief the group on safety measures and other instructions. During this time, aluminum bicycles, helmets and gloves will be dispersed to the group. Water will also be provided in specialty back packs with dis-posable mouth pieces. Then the real adventure begins as riders follow our experienced guides along outlined trails into foothills of the rainforest.


During this thrilling two hour adventure, riders will be able to immerse themselves in the diverse flora and fauna of Puerto Rico. An hour into the journey, riders will find themselves on the banks of the in-comparable Mameyes River, the only river in Puerto Rico untouched by the hands of men. A half hour stop will be held here. During this time riders may dive into the fresh and clear waters of the river and calm that initial burst of adrenaline, reaching a state of total relaxation. After this well earned break, riders will get back on their bikes to continue with their journey through the rainforest.

To give guests the best ride possible our tours are limited to just 40 riders and each tour is escorted by three experienced, fully bilingual, CPR and First Aid certified guides.
