Hard Rock Cafe Buyout

Located in historic Old San Juan in a 19th Century Colonial building, the Hard Rock Cafe combines classic American food, rock music and unique memorabilia. Visitors enjoy Hard Rock's famous all-American cuisine of giant juicy burgers, sumptuous sandwiches, barbecue chicken and ribs, fajitas, and of course, mouthwater-ing desserts. Often called the "Smithsonian of Rock n' Roll", the Hard Rock Cafe boasts the most extensive collection of memorabilia in the world, including Elton John's wig, John Lennon's jacket, Pink Floyd's guitar and Phil Collins' drumsticks. Open 7 days a week from 11:00 am to 2:00 am.

Guests are invited to move upstairs to the mezzanine level. The first thing to catch their eye will be the antique wood sculptured bar and the balcony area, which overlooks the main floor. The private "Beatles Room" is located on this level, and can be booked exclusively for your group, providing a certain minimum consumption fee is met. Located around the bar and balcony areas are seven monitors transmitting music videos. Also, there is a separate kitchen and bathrooms located on this level.

For larger groups it is possible to completely buy out a portion of the restaurant, or the entire restaurant, if numbers warrant. Our friends at the HRC will eagerly shut down for group business, and they do a fantastic job. A Memorabilia Scavenger Hunt and a Name That Tune contest are two events that help keep things jumping. We can book some of San Juan’s best musical groups, playing in the style that suits your activity best, be it a Beach Boys type of sound, Latin Jazz, Soft Rock, Brazilian, or a combination of two or more gen-res. Many groups go with a DJ and MC to keep things rolling, rather than booking a live musical ensemble.

When confirming a buy out we will give you a dollar figure which represents the minimum consumption (food, beverage and merchandise) the restaurant must receive in order to shut down from a stipulated starting time to a stipulated ending time, on a specific night of the week. To that figure is added their 18 percent gratuity, and to the resulting figure, we add our ten percent service fee.

For major buyouts, with large numbers, we encourage going with a multi food station concept.
When booking we will always need a specific date, as well as a starting and an ending time.
