Cruise Ship Transfers
ARRIVAL DAY:
Our service includes: intelligent, English-speaking meet and greet service by uniformed staff inside the baggage claim on arrival carrying computer-generated signs. We contract the porters and pay the baggage tips for luggage handling. Assistance is given to any passenger with missing luggage by making sure that they are given a completed claim form before leaving the airport. Trucks for luggage are provided without additional charge if the volume on a particular flight or flight grouping so warrants.
The teams appointed to your movement are assigned on a flight-by-flight basis, and they commence checking ETAs about two hours prior to each scheduled flight arrival time. Thus, if there is a delay, the team assigned will be fully aware of the delay, well in advance, and equipment will be juggled as necessary. If a flight cancels, we automatically meet the protection flight provided by the airline. If a passenger no-shows on an existing flight, we are usually able to determine his or her specific protection flight and the passenger is automatically met on that flight. Designated staff is there exclusively for your group and will not serve other arriving passengers.
DEPARTURE DAY:
Upon disembarkation day, guests will be expected to go through Customs inspection. Uniformed staff with signage will be waiting to greet your guests as they clear this area and retrieve their luggage.
Passengers will then be directed to their chauffeured waiting vehicles. Once on board, they will be taken directly to the airport where uniformed staff will be waiting for them curbside. Our staff will assist your passengers with the process of checking their luggage through the Department of Agriculture’s inspection, and then be directed to their airline’s ticket counter. Since guests will be coming off a cruise ship, sometimes they do not have to go through agriculture inspection and they can bypass this procedure. However this will be at the agents’ discretion.
HOTEL TO PIER TRANSFERS
On the day of your transfer, we will have uniformed meet and assist staff waiting at the hotel’s main entrance with computer-generated signs. Intelligent and English-speaking staff will be wearing red polo shirts with our Destination Puerto Rico logo and khaki colored slacks or shorts. As guests identify themselves to our staff, they will be directed to their waiting chauffeured vehicles. Once all guests are on board, they will then be transferred directly to the pier area.
