Hyatt Dorado Beach Airport Tranfers
As an alternative to the "do-it-yourself" FIT transfer service available from the in-house concession-aire at the Hyatt property, Travel Services, Inc. offers full service transfers. Features include: intelli-gent, English-speaking meet and greet service by uniformed staff inside the baggage claim area, computer-generated signs, contracting the porters and paying the baggage tips for luggage handling, assistance to any passengers with missing luggage (we ensure that they are given a completed claim form before leaving the airport), and trucks for luggage without additional charge whenever the vol-ume on a particular flight or flight grouping so warrants. We are pleased to meet any of your VIPs at the gate area with signs bearing their names, subject to FAA regulations. The teams that we assign to your movement are assigned on a flight-by-flight basis, and they commence checking ETA’s about two hours prior to each scheduled flight arrival time. Thus, if there is a delay, the team assigned will be fully aware well in advance, and equipment will be juggled as necessary. If a flight cancels, we automatically meet the protection flight provided by the airline. If a passenger no-shows on an existing flight, we are usually able to determine his or her specific protection flight and the passenger is automatically met on that flight. Assigned staff is there exclusively for your group, and will not be servicing other arriving passengers going to the Hyatt. Additionally, on departure day we not only have a full dispatch staff at the hotel for group departures, we also have staff standing by curbside at the airport to assist your passengers with their luggage, we hire and pay the porters who carry the bags through the Department of Agriculture inspection and on to the check-in counters, and on large group movements we arrange for special group check-in counters with the airlines, subject to airline confirmation.
One of the distinct advantages of using Travel Services for transfers, in addition to all of the afore-mentioned features, is the fact that we do ensure an immediate dispatch of vehicles. There is never any waiting for a vehicle to fill up, which at times could cause delays of up to 45 minutes were we to allow that practice as is the case with the regular hotel shuttle service. We will normally combine any of your passengers arriving into the same terminal within a 15 minute time frame of one another in order to minimize the effect of our minimum charge of six passengers per transfer, but if that time stretches, we will send the earlier arrivals out and not force a delay situation while waiting for the later flight(s). Another distinct advantage to using our transfer service is the fact that all of your passen-gers will be transported on an exclusive basis – they will not be mixed in with regular passengers.
