Group Lunch Options in Old San Juan

The participant on a City Tour has a wide variety of lunch options to choose from, including familiar fast food outlets, various cafés and upscale restaurants.

Many groups choose to give their participants cash allowances, which allows the participants to eat at their leisure and choose what sort of dining experience they would like.

However, several planners opt to arrange for lunch at one of our restaurant locations. Following is a list of restaurants with descriptions, as well as some sample menus.

Amadeus
This restaurant features creative gourmet Puerto Rican cuisine, as well as burgers and salads.

The Butterfly People
This quaint upstairs café boasts the world’s largest butterfly collection as its décor. The food is light and tasty, and the restaurant is conveniently located in one of the historic buildings. Open Monday through Wednesday and Saturday.

Café Níspero
A delightful open-air courtyard located in the historic El Convento Hotel, formerly the convent for the San Juan Cathedral, across from which it is located. Serving interesting light, traditional cuisine. Open daily.

Hard Rock Café
Combines classic American food, rock n’ roll and memorabilia to create the Hard Rock environment in a restored traditional Spanish building. Great staff! Open 7 days a week, 11:00 am to 2:00 am.
