Rio Mar

These courses are about an hour out of San Juan, in R�o Grande, featuring a challenging Ocean Course designed by Tom & George Fazio. At 6,875 yards, par 72, the course is narrow, with water everywhere, as well as constant winds. The 6,900 yard, par 72, River Course was designed by Greg Norman and both courses remain Puerto Rico�s best conditioned.*

RIVER COURSE: WESTIN RIO MAR
The first Greg Norman design golf course in Puerto Rico. Truly takes after the designer. The River course is a difficult golf course with winding fairways and smaller greens. The course follows the Rio Grande River, making water come into to play very often. The river course is a short course but an excellent test of anyone�s skills.

OCEAN COURSE: WESTIN RIO MAR
The Ocean Course is a classic course. The course runs through mangrove trees and is very difficult when the wind blows. There are plenty of bunkers and water hazards. The toughest hole is #16 a par 3 some 240 yards into the wind. Get on the green and consider yourself one of few. Keep an eye on your ball; the Iguanas maybe close by. The clubhouse overlooks the 9th and 18th holes of the ocean course. Great view of El Yunque, the ocean and of the Westin Resort. Alberto Rios, one of the few Puerto Rican class A pros, is always willing to help.
