Hyatt Dorado Beach

Consistently rated as one of the world's best golf resort destinations and past host of the World Cup of Golf and Senior Tournament of Champions, the Hyatt Dorado Beach features two courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. As you might expect from their oceanside location, you'll encounter a fair amount of wind and a wealth of exquisite vistas on these two Jones' classics. There is a pro shop, full practice facility and profes-sional instruction available.

EAST COURSE: HYATT DORADO
The East Course is one of the oldest and most well known in Puerto Rico. This course is the site to many Sen-ior Tour events and the 1994 World Cup. The highlight to the East Course is hole # 4, the double dogleg par 5, which has been mentioned by Jack Nicklaus as one of his favorites holes. For beauty, the ocean lines the first five golf holes. When the ocean winds are blowing, this course is not only beautiful but very tough. The newly design clubhouse is a little intimidating but make sure you stop in the pro shop and visit the upstairs bar. Junior and Aaron are very eager to help make your golfing day at Dorado a memorable one.

WEST COURSE: HYATT DORADO
This course is beautifully designed with many bunkers and water hazards. This course is one of the least men-tioned golf courses in Puerto Rico, yet the condition and difficulty of this course is right up there with its sister course. The back nine has some of the most eye pleasing holes in Puerto Rico. Be alert; you just may see Chi Chi Rodriguez playing a few holes. The stretches of holes 12 �14 are very exciting. The par 4 #12 is a fun and-tricky hole if you have not played it before, a driver is not always needed.
