A business or incentive trip is often an ideal time to offer an activity that is fun, yet strengthens rela-tionships, communication, and morale among team members.

Team Building Activities demonstrate different aspects of team behaviors and get team members to think about what is essential for high performing teams. They allow the group to recover from disunity, frustration and conflict. They also help sensitize the team members to behaviors that may contribute toward or obstruct group problem solving. These activities promote such things as good communica-tion, problem solving skills, trust, taking advantage of the strengths and weaknesses of each team member and understanding the customers’ point of view. • Revealing Rainforest Team Building
o The Lost Colony Adventure is a highly interactive and fun group experience which is comprised of participants completing a course of challenging multi-dimensional tasks in which they overcome many obstacles throughout the rainforest. Success depends on team members who persevere and work together to plan, communicate effectively and share ideas.
o Applause! In order to successfully complete a sequence of ingenious tasks, all partici-pants must actively work together to achieve their team goal. It requires teams to use problem-solving, lateral thinking and a sense of humor. Effective communication, qual-ity, leadership and sharing a common vision are all elements stress in this event.
o The Taino Treasure Trail: Team members set forth in search of the mysterious treas-ures left in the rainforest by the Taino Indians. Teams will go by foot through rough cut trails, challenged by great water reeds, the nasty termites next, and the old man of the sea, just to name a few. This exercise will emphasize team building, time management, utilizing the strengths of each participant, camaraderie and team spirit.
